Anxiety Relief Plan?
Hey there and by the way you are a supportive member here and we appreciate it greatly. I noticed you have been so kind to others really struggling here and it’s beautiful so thank you. You mentioned to one poster about detoxing the gut, the connection to cortisol, etc and I agree with that. I use magnesium powder and GABA and b-complex for anxiety. Distractions like work and travel are helpful too.
Thank you Strongheartforever. I’m no expert, I just want to share what has been working for me and hopefully that encourages others. I do believe that the gut has tremendous influences over how our brain/mind performs and the clarity it provides when healthy. Also the power of a clean diet and intermittent fasting has also been powerful for me. I hope that others can find alternatives to pharmaceuticals and find natural living as much as possible for a method of balance. 🙏🏼
Do you find by taking all of those supplements you mentioned has reduced your anxiety to a very low number? If so, then that is wonderful, and I might try them.
Yes. I use to take them before and they were minimal effect. Once I added intermittent fasting to my life they became really intensely active and it’s been an upward change in a short period of time. They key is to give it about 1-2 weeks to really kick in.
Also a great gut detox. Goal is to lower Cortisol and Insulin so Dopamine can do is thing.
Hey Im not sure if you guys have any insight but I'm having a dilemma. I've suffered from extreme anxiety for a long time and my doc prescribes me Xanax. I recently switched to the extended release 1 MG twice a day. However my body is building a tolerance to it and now it's not working anymore. Has anyone been in this boat? Do I keep increasing my dosage or is there any other medication that you have had good experiences with? (not an antidepressant. I'm already on one and it actually works so I'm not interested in switching) tia
I’m no expert, but do what you have to do to get by now while you make lifestyle changes to natural method with exercise, mediation, intermittent fasting, clean eating, natural supplements, then start backing off the chemical pharmaceuticals. Now you have a new brighter life to work with. ☀️ this I promise
I already do. I am a practicing Buddhist. I meditate and do yoga daily. I'm very spiritual. I live a whole food plant based lifestyle. I am a very natural and holistic person. I need advice with my current situation. But thank you very much for your reply.
Mine is so severe, I do have to take medication daily and I have xanax for as needed. Breathing is a great way to deal with it. I also find that talking to some one like a councilor helps more then people may think.
