I did the exact same thing a few days ago .. when you have no direction, any step could be the best move you make. I would not say I am flush with friends on here but I have followed a couple very genuine folks around and got a good feel for this community. Sorry for the circumstances that brought you here but welcome all the same.

Welcome to the group! This support group is very helpful. I have learned so much from the people here.
I have had GAD since childhood and I’ve lived with it through some bad times and good times, too. I have been practicing some healthy ways to deal with it through different sources.
I suffer from horrible anxiety at times. I was doing great for a few years and then suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm 3yrs ago. Since then, anxiety has been awful. There are times when I feel less anxious, usually when family or friends are around. I have been in counseling for years but it helps very little.
I’m so sorry to hear about what happened to you. I hope that you are doing well in regards to the aneurysm. For Anxiety all you can do is take it one day at a time. Therapy really helps. 😀 You have myself and people in this group that you can chat with too.
