Self-Care

I have been practicing more-and-more self-care over the past two weeks. Limiting social media, reading, focusing on my own life, and trying to get our of the house more. I think it has been helping me with my depression and anxiety, but in the hours of being home alone waiting for my spouse to return, I still have moments of dread.

What self-care things have you tried that work for you? Any tips?

I know what you mean by the moments of dread. I clean stuff or go for a short walk, just around the block. I listen to soothing or light-hearted podcasts to distract myself too. Self-care is so important but I often find a reason to put off doing it!
