Going for a massage at the end of my workday. It settles my nervous system and gives me a better night. Not an expensive spa massage - I get a half an hour or hour at a regular massage parlor and it does the trick.

It's good to get some fresh air and sun if you can. I like to sit outside and read, write, smoke, or play with my kids. The cold air right now makes it easier to breathe too, and that helps with the anxiety.

I use a nourishing facial mask, do nails, go out into nature really paying attention and connecting with my spirit. Meditation or deep breathing.

I love the sleep selections on Headspace and use them often.

I recently found a TV show I really like. It’s on Netflix, its name is “Call My Agent,” and it’s a light comedy. It’s in French with subtitles. It’s a nice reminder that there’s a whole world out there, with different places and people. The world is not narrowed down to the misery going on inside my head.

I try to make it a point to have some contact with people (in person or phone call, not just internet - although internet helps.) Being alone is really hard for me right now.
