welp i look homeless i guess

i was sitting in a rocking chair outside of cracker barrel(a restaurant) and someone came up all concerned and offered to but my food they though i was homeless 🥲

My boyfriend has gotten that before, he was sleeping on a bench (he’s a metalhead long wavy hair) with his scarf over his eyes and someone gave him money. Its funny to us because we look more like grungy artists and we are proud of it.

I do worry often about becoming homeless as a woman, so its a topic that comes up often.

Don't do it, focus on school or your job and move up, things get better you just have to put a little effort.

It is becoming increasingly common for cities to make it illegal to sit on a bench in a public park. I am not even referring to a camping ban. I mean sit on a bench too long. No doubt police are selective about who they target too.

No idea how old you are but Getting old in the US…might as well be dumped somewhere. That is literally how this society treats older people.
