I have always been rather hesitant to share my good news with people, fearing that it might make me seem like I am bragging. As I work my way through my depression and anxiety, there have been such few instances of good news, so I would like to share some:
This week, I got a job! I have been unemployed for about two years, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, partly due to my depression and crippling anxiety. I applied for some work-from-home jobs, and became frustrated because they all seem like scams; so I applied to work at a local ranch, part time. I interviewed, and got the job! I am so excited. There are many animals that I will be helping to care for, and there are only three other people there, so hopefully I will not be too overwhelmed.
Just wanted to share my happiness for today. Tomorrow might not be a happy day, but for right now.... all is well in my little world.

That's great news. I am happy for you. Depression /anxiety are treatable. If you catch them at right time. I am sure they will not cause any hindress to your job or professional career. Have you tried therapy or medication to get rid of them? or does it go away with time and coping techniques?
