Crying all the time

Hello to all! I am new to this so I am a little bit out of my comfort zone. I have PTSD, anxiety and depression. I left an abusive marriage almost 3 years ago. The last few weeks I have cried more than I have in the last year. Some things from my past and my ex have popped up and mentally I feel like I have been going backwards. I start crying when I think about things. I am also having a big medical procedure in a couple of weeks on top of working with my doctors on other health issues. The therapist I’ve been seeing for over a year is leaving and that’s bothering me too. I will continue therapy, but it’ll be hard with someone new. I am on medication and it’s made a huge difference up until a week ago. I cry a lot saying I just want the pain to go away. My current partner has been extremely supportive, but I know it can be hard a lot of times. I’m trying to stay busy with my job and other things to keep my mind occupied but it’s hard. Any positive advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

I know exactly how you feel. Make sure you tell your partner exactly what you need from them and I know they will be helpful. You're getting over a major trauma in your life. It's not easy. But it just takes time and continued work. You are doing a great job!!!!
