Does anyone else feel so high and great and the all of a sudden feel completely low emotionally, not sad just so run down and confused? Recently I feel like two different people, more so than before and my emotions are going up and down too much. I dont have any friends and relationships are hard to form because I go from feeling great to an overload of overthinking which becomes uncontrollable.

try remember how you felt during the highs and don`t over dwell when experiencing lows.
I suffered significant mood swings with anxiety. When I was feeling good, I always had the fear of descending into the darkness again, and fought to hang on to the good feelings. Of course that didn't work. And when I descended into the darker mood, I was desperately trying to figure out how to get back to the good feelings again. Which of course didn't work either.
The mood swings seemed to happen on their own schedule. I learned that my attempts to control my emotions just made the mood swings more extreme. Since they happened anyway, I eventually gave up trying to control them. I didn't make such a big deal about feeling good, or get too upset about feeling bad. I tried to accept however I felt without making up a story about it or trying to change it or hang on to it.
When I started to accept my mood swings, they became less extreme, and easier to cope with. Eventually they became just the normal ups and downs of living.

Good morning,That sounds like something pretty difficult that you are dealing with right now. To keep my mind and spirits up, I try to keep myself busy by finding things to do that are purposeful and enjoyable too. IE: The mornings are the best time of day for me. So I get my chores and responsibilities done then -(I start off with getting myself ready for the day along with listening to some great positive music and my radio bible study. Then I start cleaning house; washing dishes, getting laundry started, Making my bed, running errands. By that time it is usually lunchtime. Then I take some time to eat lunch and rest for a little bit and then I enjoy writing and journaling. Right now I am working on putting a book of wisdom together that my daughter asked me if I could make for her. I also enjoy getting outside and working in my yard in the spring and summer months and in the winter months, I like to walk around town and stop by our small-town local coffee shop and have a hot Chai Tea or Carmel Latte and people watch. Sometimes, someone might come in that I know and they'll stop by and say hi and we'll visit for a few minutes. I also love people and working with them. So I volunteer on Wednesday nights at my church and I listen to kids say their verses at AWANA and I cook for the high school youth group there as well.) I find that when I am out walking and getting some exercise and out helping other people it keeps my mind on the positive track. It is helping me as much as I am helping others. - One more thing, do you have any animals like a dog or cat? It is amazing what having a pet can do to help keep your mind and spirit lifted up!
