Can you get COVID soon after recovering from it?

I was recovering from COVID for 10 days and I felt amazing this morning. Now I do not feel so great. Earlier, I made the mistake of accidently putting my hands on my mouth. I hope I did not give it to myself. I do not want to go through this again. Thank God I am vaccinated.

Yes you can. Or it never left. Someone told me just today he had covid after TG and the right around New Years he thinks he got the flu. Luckily he works at home.

Do you remember…🤔🤔 I’m trying to remember way back at the start of COVID, people talked about getting it for three or four days, then it would clear up, then it would come back. But no one talks about that eye of the storm anymore.

Yep. I worked for census so I was knocking on doors (funner than it sounds). One household was quarantined in July. He said through the door they got sick in march then they would get better and then sick again. He sounded so exhausted and scared. 3 adults. It probably just kept cycling around the house. Today we do know more about isolation and wearing masks. Most of us anyway.

Think it is probably same episode not a new oneEach person's journey is different with this but common to feel better then not so good again, that is my understanding of it

Yes you can get reinfected, but you may also be exhibiting the Long Covid symptoms which feel like the initial Covid symptoms.... with all the variants and the 30 different protein spikes on the Omicron... many people are becoming re-infected sooner. And Omicron is not just like getting the flu, they are now finding a higher than expected mortality rate and a higher rate of 'Long Covid' symptoms in kids, not only adults. None of this should be dismissed because people are tired of it, or 'sooo 'Over Covid'.... there is no herd immunity possible with so many variants...we all have to use common sense, know that even with a mild case of Covid you could get 'Long Covid', which is no joy ride and in some cases leaves you permanently impaired.
