Paroxetine and emotional numbness

I’ve been taking 40 mg of paroxetine for anxiety and depression, it helped ease my depression but at the same time I feel like I’m emotionally numb. Does anyone familiar with this feeling??

Very normal with SSRI's. That's quite a high dose but you should normalise within a few weeks. Alternatively ask for a lower dose.

I also take 40mg daily, this is not a high dose, pretty middle of the road, you can take up to 65mg daily. Can I ask how long have you been taking it for?
