Meet my ESA Loki he just turned 1 in February and on April 1st will be 1 year that I have him. I always been a big animal lover and I am a firm believer that they can bring so much help and joy. Anyone who is struggling with anxiety and depression you should look into getting an ESA Loki has been my savior. He helps me a lot especially by distracting me from being in my head I am diagnosed with depression anxiety and bipolar which comes with OCD when I’m stuck in my head with thoughts and when one thought gets to me I can be obsessive with it and he helps me in more ways than one.

Loki is really sweet. I am so glad for you that he has helped you so much with your health problems. Animals can be such a great comfort when you arn't well. They are always there for you and give you unconditional love. I am a big animal lover like you. My lovely cat died last year and I miss her so much. At the moment I could not replace her with another cat because I don't think I am ready yet, but who .knows what tomorrow could bring. I wish happiness to you and Loki.
I’m sooo sorry for your loss. You would never be replacing your car but I always think like this I think they would want you to give another animal a loving home. They know the life they had with you and would want you to provide for another who is in need. Animals are not selfish and I’m sure when the time comes you’ll be loving 🥰 another one and it will be loving you back unconditionally. I’m sure your cat will be proud that you will give it the the best life possible until their day comes.
Awww Loki looks soooo cute😍 I support you and keep fighting on, you can do anything! I will definitely look into ESA's because it could help me as well with my depression and anxiety. Thanks!
Definitely do and they do as well plus if your psychiatrist or therapist write a letter saying it’s your ESA your protected with housing as well, your landlord can’t raise your rent, can not evict you and you also can’t be denied housing either.
I live in a apartment myself and there are no animals allowed what so ever but once I got Loki and told my therapist and psychiatrist about how it has helped me a lot they were quick to write me a letter.
@vonnah I hope you do get an ESA and look into if you can get one now while in college if your in a dorm. Ask the people I charge there about the policy about having an ESA.
That's amazing how your therapist and psychiatrist came together to help you out so you can have a ESA. I'm not in college yet but I will totally ask the head people about that!!!
Yes they are both big on animals as well they believe they are great support plus they both owned/own pets too I love my doctors they work very well with me and trust me as well with controlling my meds and listen too my psychiatrist isn’t the type to just write off something just because he listens and trusts me with controlling when I have to lower or increase my mood stabilizers the as well as with my anxiety meds
