so I just found out my hubs is now going hunting next weekend with his brother...normally I'd be ok cool please go enjoy, but I have not had a break without kids since my birthday....JULY!

I'm a stay at home mom so I don't get out much, like never. I have asked him him set up a date night or let me know when it's convenient for me to have a few hours out n about alone or with a girl friend. I've got none of the above. he has gone to a concert without me even when I had a ticket but couldn't find a sitter and now this hunting. I feel totally forgotten about or like he could give 2 shits....ugh idk....maybe I just need to balls up and say I'm taking a day peace out have fun with the kids.

Yes. Oh my goodness you have every right to be upset! What he is doing is unfair. It’s toxic too because he is being inconsiderate.

You absolutely could take a day and say peace out. In fact, if he is leaving on Saturday for hunting, leave him with the kids on Friday. Then this is you on the phone on Saturday morning: “Oh, I thought I told you… i am hunting this weekend…. for good holiday shopping deals and a manicure.” 😬😇🤣

Regards his hunting it's about time he realised what's more important hunting or you a ultimatum might do the trick but remember it may make things worse do proceed with caution

I'm not one for ultimatum, not worth a fight and he def deserves it too bcuz he works his ass off, it's more the not thinking about me thing.
