I just started taking it a few days ago, and I'm experiencing a milder version of the brain zaps I use to get when I was taking lexapro.

I have been taking Buspirone (5 mg) for a few months now along with Fluoxetine (20mg). I have not experienced any brain zaps with it, but I do sometimes feel woozy and nauseous.

I was super nervous about starting it, but it has helped quite a bit. I definitely feel less anxious and my blood pressure is lower. I guess I'd describe myself as feeling more mellow and even in my moods since starting it.

Hi Calamity3Jane and Welcome. The fact that you just started Buspirone, please give it more time.

Brain zaps are not dangerous. Think of it as a positive sensation that the

brain is starting to adjust to the med. Try not to focus on it. Always check

back with your doctor if it becomes an issue for you.

I wish you well. :) xx
