you could put up some sunny pictures in your home look at holiday snaps regular visit nice indoor places like museums be arty painting nice summer scenes but stay warm it does help.winter is my favourite time of year but this year it`s a struggle so far.
Hello sad light therapy seasonal associated disorder Lima lamp look it up I try sit in sun through window or walk when it's out I go swimming and foccus on spring be here after Xmas is out the way and I get jobs in the house comfort food too, try meet up with friends, have my cat in the bed for snuggle lye ins take care 🤗😺
I find that exercising sometimes helps with seasonal depression. Do you ever go out to run or lift or anything?
visiting an art museum is a good idea. If you like learning things I highly recommend domestika. they have perpetual sales. fun little courses in all sorts of things. I take advantage of cheap winter fares. Even a weekend close by helps. or a spa day... anything special. my doctor says she has patients that take or up an anti-depressant every year for just this reason. Get off the computer and tv. Find a good book instead. Reason is the light is blue and keeps you up. In the dark it is even brighter.
Winter is my favorite season. Try to get outdoors as much as possible, just be sure to dress for the occasion. Lots of soft layering, a warm hat and good winter boots help a great deal. If your health allows, pick up a light weight shovel and clear some snow. Just shovel a small amount at a time and take it slow and easy. Best exercise ever, and you will stay warm.
Don't forget to make a snow angel. ❄️
We can't stop the winter from coming, so we need to do our best to embrace it. ☃️
Sounds nice! I too often lonely staying indoors during winters. Will try to embrace me the next winter with these ideas. Thank you!
Music, art, light, and vit. D
I don't mind the cold, but we're having a lot of foggy days. I actually drove north one day and it was sunny a half hour up the road and it did help.
