Welcome! It can be hard to live with anxiety and depression but hopefully over time you get to know yourself a little better so it gets easier to manage. That’s what happened for me. There is hope!

How to make sense of hard times? Sometimes we experience things that shake us to our core.
It can be difficult to make sense of why things happened the way they did. It's important to give yourself time to organize your thoughts and process negative emotions.
Writing about your feelings is an effective way of calming your mind during stressful periods. Hard times don't last forever, but they come with the opportunity to transform and push yourself to become better.
You have to really believe that you can beat your fears and irrational thoughts. They will lose their power without your attention.
Sometimes I think this is a dream it could not have happened to me and pinch myself but it’s not a dream and it did happen. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness 3 weeks ago and that’s what triggered it. I was consumed but have been feeling better the last 2 days I have low grade meds to try but have not needed to take it yet.
Welcome to the group. I have a Major Depression and Anxiety Disorder and have found this site helpful. You’re not alone anymore. There are people here who understand and can help you identify.
I have to treat my mental illness every day and one of the ways I do that is with this forum.

Hi! I’m new here too. I read posts about once a week, many are very helpful. We are not alone. That’s the best feeling knowing you are not alone. My lines are open if you want to chat. I started listened to Dr. Weekes books bec of a recommendation on here. When I really start to go down the rabbit hole I move. Take a walk, jump rope, just lift a 5lbs weight. Gets my mind refocused.
