I've been dealing with a couple of anxiety attacks (they have stopped, thank god) but have major depression which started last august. Food has become an issue, because I have lost my appetite..what can i do to eat some healthy food again? Anyone else with problems eating?

Yes , we’re here to help you. I had this losing appetite disorder and I found out the only way you can beat it is to manage your stress and depression , with meditation or therapies or … it will get better. Meanwhile you can have smaller and more meals that can be digested easily.
For easy to eat food try smoothies and kefir . And maybe some easy food like hard boiled eggs or fruit in small amounts
In my early years with this I went through this. My family dr had me drink protein shakes every day with a scoop of ice cream and a squirt of Hershey syrup. Also make sure you’re on a good multivitamin. Eat frequent small snacks. Warm wishes!

Hi. Think about food you really like, before last August, and prepare it for yourself. Recruit a friend or family member to cook with you and make it fun! I used to be thin and my depression led me in the opposite direction. I’m medium size now but used to being small, even extra small. Just be conscious of what you need to do. Protein shake you can buy at costco. Individual boxes pre made shakes. I have the same issues and must have protein. I try to drink one if I can’t eat. Sometimes I can’t even do this. But it is a lot easier if you have them handy. Saltine crackers.Protein is hugely important for us. I was told at least 55 grams a day. Helped my depression and anxiety when I was doing regularly. Life happened and I got of course. 🙃
