Nature knows best
Herbal : Nature knows best - Anxiety and Depre...
Herbal
Just waiting to be discovered xx
That’s all they had years ago before all these drugs were invented 👍
What do you mean? How does extraction from herbs differ from manufacturing other than form? Chinese medicine goes back 5k years. the first synthetic med was in the 1900s and is still used today. Fun fact: it is coincidentally within a few decades of the first photographic print.
I hope to reason with people reading not OP. If this was true we wouldn't need penicillin. Or small pox vaccine. Heck, Steve Jobs expressed regret taking the "natural" route. He could have lived a lot longer if he had followed science.
I totally support studying anything that will possibly help whatever. However herbs work or poison because of the chemicals in them just like human derived medicines. There are plenty of poisons in plants. Likewise the pharm industry makes ~120 drugs from plants including aspirin, codeine and digitalis.
Yes modern medicines are good but they also have many side affects ! sorry affects ! when a animal is sick in the wild they know which plants to eat to heal them, nature knows best, humans just make money out of it, and think they know best x
Tell that to my cat who rubbed her face in a lily and died three weeks later from kidney failure. You are spitting in the face of every person on the forum who is grateful for those meds they take. Many of them consider them life changing if not life saving. Perhaps you should listen to them.
They also take herbal so whats wrong with using both if they work for them, its not a case of either or ! you forget its just info I put on here, people on here are not stupid ! they have free will ! to choose what works for them ! so do you understand sweetheart 💗
I never said anything was wrong with it in fact just the opposite. You said nature knows best and humans only want to make money.
Its just my opinion, its not fact its the way I see it ! every one has their opinion x
Yes everyone does have and is entitled to their opinion. But facts are not opinion. Sometimes conflating the two can be harmful. You know, There are quite a few pigments that are not available to artists unless they obtain and combine the raw materials themselves. They are too dangerous. Probably to the buyer too. Where it is derived doesn’t say too much about its usefulness, risk, flavor, beauty it imparts. I’m more concerned with the quality of the study.
My observation is that pharma scientists maintain their integrity to the science even while executives throw humans under the bus. In fact I think pharmaceutical companies are a bigger problem than insurance companies. As demonstrated by the success of their lobby this week. 😠 But the scientists are generally good.
I’m not interested in arguing with you Hidden Whatever fact you are questioning please just google it.
good point
I see both sides of this issue. But being a medical person we have to think of some things. Insulin for the diabetic
The meds you are on for your reflux
Immunosuppressant drugs for certain illnesses
Inhaler for asthma
Antibiotics for infection.
The list goes on
Yes animals know how to care for themselves in the wild. I had a fox show up on my deck last year. Just a baby with mange. We can treat that . This baby was going to die.
❤️🐬
I agree I just share the info written by far cleverer people than me ! its not me who says these things .💗
Much of what has been synthesized today had been originally found in plants or animal chemistry. Being an herbalist, I agree that a lot of plant remedies do and can work. It's nice to settle my stomach with a peppermint and chamomile with Manuka honey tea. If I have a sore mouth, I use Lemon Balm tea and honey. If I have nausea, I use fresh ginger in tea. But when I have a full-blown abbess, I have to take an antibiotic or risk a systemic infection that is too serious to mess around with. I think we have to use the brain we were given and find some sort of balance in medicine...we don't have to over medicate and pop a pill for every ache or pain or perceived malady, but when we have the science to help with our depression and anxiety and other disease...then I am going to take my anti-depressant.
