Pain with swallowing

I suffer from health anxiety and depression. After being on an antibiotic for possible tick bite, I began having pain about four inches under left armpit every time I swallow something solid. This has been going on for 7weeks now. Not worsening and no other symptoms. Has anyone else experienced this? Can’t get in for barium swallow till next month and am worried. Tried Prevacid and didn’t help. Thanks in advance

Hi Lisa, Sometimes even after taking antibiotics, the lymph nodes under the armpitcan stay swollen for a few weeks after finishing medication

Since it's been longer than that, it is always a good idea to give your doctor a call

and be checked out. Wish you well. :) xx
