Anyone Taking Gabapentin for Anxiety

Has anyone had any success with using gabapentin for treatment of anxiety? If you did, what dose began helping you? Thanks for any information.

I haven’t had much success I must admit with gabapentin for treating nerve pain or anxiety. It could just be because I have other health problems that compound my anxiety. Anyway, always start off slow and if needed be go up in stages giving your body time to react. Everyone is different so one dose that works for one person might not work for another.Hang in there and I’m sure you will find the dose that works for you.

I was prescribed Gabapentin from a neurologist due to Spondylolisthesis, from my experience 900mg per day did nothing for me. Coming off it was awful, anxiety increased, I would avoid taking this drug. I take ashwagandha supplements, which reduces my anxiety.
