Lamictal rash

Has anyone experienced ‘Lamictal rash’ when starting this medication? I’ve never had a reaction to anything but I woke up with an itchy rash on my arms and legs. Apparently it’s a common side effect 😓

Hi. It's best to call your Dr as the rash can be serious. Not wanting to scare you, but Google it.

I googled it when I noticed it after it woke me up this morning. I don't believe I'm in danger as I have no other symptoms. This rash is the most common side effect and I didn't read up on it before taking it so that's my fault. I was just looking for others who might've had a similar experience. I'm glad I've only been this for about 2 weeks because I'm definitely stopping it

Call the md... you need to talk about this. A lamictal rash can be something that your doctor may want to discontinue Med.

Thank you all so much for your help! My doctor just recommended antihistamine. The rash is cleared up now. No more 50 mg of Lamictal for me 😅

The md took you off the Med? I'm glad the rash is gone. A lamictal rash can be very serious.

Yes she did. The rash subsided but I definitely thought the worst and it was very stressful! I ended up being manic for a few days after stopping it
