Does anyone feel extra depressed and anxiety ridden on Sundays? I’ve been having overwhelming sadness and anxiety and I don’t understand it

Sarabella, Yes and Yes. Sundays are completely unbearable for me. I descend into the darkest possible place and want to die. I am alone now and need to build a support system. Do you have supportive people around you that can help? Sending you extra 💓 on Sundays.

I do have an amazing husband who is my rock but sometimes that’s not enough ya know. It’s always nighttime when it hits too

Sundays used to take me down to dark places because of my social anxiety. I dreaded having to go back to work on mondays, no matter how stress free the job would appear to other people. Sunday was also a reminder that the dread /anxiety would last for five days, not just a day. I understand your feelings, but your reasons for them may be different than mine. Saturdays became involved as well, thinking the next day was Sunday and it would start all over again. Upside, I’m not there anymore because of many reasons, thank goodness.🙏

I know how you feel about Saturday’s and thinking the next day will be Sunday. I don’t work because I’m home with my daughter but I get depressed that husband will be going back to work and he’ll be gone all day and we always miss him a lot

You’re very lucky to have a husband who treats you so well that you’ll actually miss him when he leaves for work. Sounds like a keeper. Miss him, but know he’ll be coming back. ❤️🏄‍♀️

Hi Sarabella! Sunday's also tend to be a trouble day for me as well. I think it's because I don't do anything. I found that if I go out and do something. Like go shopping or go to church just get out for an hour or two that it helps me. I tend to get restless which leads to depression so that's one thing that helps me. ❤️

That’s a good idea, take a ride or go to a store. Make the day fun instead of sitting thinking about it. Thank you

Oh yes. I have a stressful job and have been worrying about getting fired because of my cognitive issues. So every Sunday feels literally dreadful.

If I can get outdoors in the sun for an hour it is much better though.
