Equality for everybody, stop the fighting and learn to live in peace and harmony.

For the people who read my posts and follow me, they know from one of my previous posts just how competitive I have been over my life with various sports and how many different competitions I entered being such an athletic person in my youth and virtually unstoppable and unbeatable. It does sadden me though after watching the match yesterday how sad individuals use social media to cause such up evil, distaste and racial abuse to the English football team. It becomes more than just a game to so many and there are those who hide amongst the crowds and spectators just waiting for the chance to cause and create trouble and chaos which in turn taints the whole game for everyone else not only the players themselves but puts a dark shrowd over the entire competition in general and makes everyone watching football look bad because of a minority of pathetic sad people who wish to spoil it for the rest of us. We all have red blood cells and white ones and are all equal on this Earth or we should be! but race, colour and creed has to come into everything now, even none supporters of football join in with the unity of being part of England backing them and giving their support yet you watch the news and see individuals causing riots posting defamatory remarks on social media and tainting the whole sport with slanderous racism. Surely the world has seen enough pain and punishment for decades to come with the Covid19 pandemic and what it has done to this planet over the last 18 months solid turning it upside down for millions. You watched the news and saw peoples faces with so much despair when we lost the game yet we beat some of the best teams in the world to ever get to that point, what about Germany being beaten, when you reach the finale both teams are bringing the very best of their game to the match or should be at that point. Someone has to eventually lose and come second or there is no game, no competition. What about all the other teams who went home with heads hanging low, I'm sure a lot of them would love to come runners up like we did and take our place, just being there playing for your country is an achievement in itself. Are we now so blind not to see that, and are we going to attach racial equality to every competition from now on? We are better than that people? I hope like the news stated the police can trace these people even abroad and ban them from public sporting events and also from social media with a fine and a penal sentence. No matter what people will do to make this planet a better and safer one, make the planet equal for everyone. Yet sadly it will continue to fight and abuse and in many cases kill and violate because of the colour of your skin. I feel it's so very sad. I just wish there was an easier solution where we could all live together in peace and harmony. but you know like I do that will never happen. But that still remains my wish x x amen...

I just wish there was a solution to all of this, We live in the 21st-century and you would have thought by this time we would have worked it all out by now but it appears to be getting far worse, you think you reach a milestone and things appear to calm down and move forward in a positive way then this happens, it's disgraceful. 😔😪

Thoroughly agree too, ridiculous that nonsensical attitude is still alive and well in some quarters, was however happy to see some deserved praise given to Marcus Rashford for the charity work he does.

The louder, more ignorant crowds can be annoying and ruin everyone's fun for sure. I'm so sick of sensationalist media and people with strong opinions and no time to do research.

In my life, I've noticed two things that commonly seem to be able to unite people from all walks of life- Dungeons and Dragons and cannabis 😅

I appreciate what you are saying, I feel like we live in a rather immature era sometimes

I just felt so bad that I had to say something yet it makes me also feel like I am saying something horribly wrong by asking for a peaceful world of equality, We both know it will never happen in our time as times are so difficult now. people do not, in general, give a monkey's about the next person, I didn't agree to the black rights movement and the damage they created and caused around the world but I also know they needed to make politicians see and change laws making a stance for a better future and equality of life. for that reason alone, I supported the movement but not the damage, destruction and graffiti they caused. This today should be a thing of the past in the 21st century as no one is a second rate human being. the colour of your skin does not dictate your stature or make you any less superior or inferior. it's a politics I will never understand and it disgusts me to think people stoop this low.

100% behind you on that! I’m Scottish but was hoping England to win! A lot of my friends thought I was mad! The end of the day it’s only a game! Players and managers are all doing their very best! None of them are wanting to lose! Like you they are all so very competitive. The violence and hatred and disrespect that has sadly marred this match and others! I don’t understand why there has to be this vicious hatred directed towards anyone! Booing other countries national anthems too is all shameful! There’s far too much hatred in the whole world right now! A lot of this I feel isn’t being handled well by governments as hate crimes. I had hoped that COVID would change humanity for the better but sadly I’m not convinced! 💔😘xx

Hi ratlegs, thank you for your input and views. I agree totally with how you also feel, We have so many serious underlying issues with this world from racism to famine and poverty to sexual exploitation of young children and slavery, let alone war with so many different countries. far too much is going on every single day and I see a world that unless people find a way to live in relative peace it will be its own destruction. Take a good hard look at this picture of mixed-race children all happy here, jovial and more than likely playing together, but as they get older their cultures take over and a barrier forms and they separate and soon grow apart, some may even kill the other yet this picture proves humanity can at one point live together in happiness unviolated by humanity as these children have no racism, no creed distancing, no colour of skin issues and no issues of segregation of any kind, This is programmed into them as life matures by the culture they are brought up in.

About 30 years ago, we had football hooligans, who loved nothing better than to get a mob together and beat up the other side's fans. Eventually It became rife in the International Game too, and although it has more or less died down here in UK, it still happens, like when a bunch of Russians set about a group of Brits in a coffee shop somewhere on the Continent a few years back.

However, it seems to have been followed by this racial abuse when 'our' side doesn't win, as well as in the stands.. we are back to fighting as well.

But we Brits have always had a contentious current; way back we had the 'No blacks, No Irish, No dogs', back during the Windrush times. This was followed by the 60s and the Mods and Rockers battles, at seaside resorts.

We Brits are not always nice, (to put it mildly!)

You only have to look at the old British pre-decimal coins with Britania ruling the waves, ask yourself what does this mean? and why we chose an emblem like the 3 lions, why lions? it shows the rest of the world some kind of hostility and threat not to be reckoned with. Do you not think this has not been going on for centuries because it has. yes, with modernisation and evolution it has taken on a whole new field in violence because weapons of violence have become more lethal leading to our ultimate mass destruction and eventual extinction. look at Russia creating the Tsar Hydrogen bomb. 500 kilotons of explosives, enough to punch a hole through the atmosphere and reach space evaporating everything on the ground for 500 miles, why create something that will destroy everyone ....but they have and they can?

Wow! That is scary! Didn't know about that, but It seems to be counterproductive, because with fallout from a bomb that large it could make the whole of Earth uninhabitable.

in reply to Midori

On October 30th 1961 Russia took the worlds most powerful destructive device and detonated it pushing the limits of explosive power further than anyone had ever gone or will probably ever go again. This Tsar contained the equivalent of 58 million tons of TNT or all the explosives in WW1 and 2 put together and this yield was reduced to half because they did not know the pilots could get far enough away from the blast in time to film it. they still own the bomb now and it is only a matter of time. you need to watch TSAR explosion in youtube 😨😥😭
