It was a very depressing week and I had lost a few lbs. But my 2 best friends helped me a little to get thru it. I still have to find the courage to clean my room. For some reason I'm not too willing to be in a clean environment. I feel like I don't care about it..I live in a back house but my family treats the room next to mine like storage but it is so dirty. It makes me feel like I live in a junkyard and its making me feel like what's the point of keeping my own room clean. To live next to that is very degrading to my environment and my attitude. I can't wait to get money to move out of here. To get fresh air and space and actually be motivated to stay clean and neat and not fall into my depressive state every now and then.

I agree, we should check in with each other every now and then and maybe we can start with one thing at a time..I have dishes to clean, laundry to fold and a bed to make, I have so much paper that I have to go thru
So ,in the past 3 days I still haven't done anything but take a shower. Its so hot and its making me sluggish to even start. I think I'm going to attempt to fold my clothes tonight.. pls pray for me im losing it lol
I will pray for you. Today is Sunday after all. It's 7.40 am here and l must get up and start the day.
I would actually like to have a shower straight away, but can't until my husband frees the blocked shower., it gets blocked regularly lately.
He is milking cows for a farmer. He does that with his other job.
So I think you are lucky to have a working shower. I know it can seem like a chore taking one, but it seems like a good place to start. You could find yourself brightening up after maybe.
I usually finish off on a cold setting. I find it gives me a boost to liven me up for the day.
Good ideaa about folding your clothes. You can picture the nice organised pile you will end up with. Maybe you could put on some music you like while you do it, I certainly find that helps.
Now, I must get up right now, I will pray for you as I do my first tasks of the day.
You're so sweet, thank you alot. I folded my clothes today so if you prayed for me it worked cause it was out of no where <3 im so happy about this. This website, the people on it are really motivating, you guys don't understand this is a great platform for me, im grateful
I did pray for you as I was cooking the breakfast. You gave me some motivation too. I'm delighted , well done to you.As I keep saying, this site has been an enormous help to me this past year.
It is nice to live in a clean space-- so I'm told. I have learned that
Happiness is Living in a Neat Mess, especially if it involves art supplies. You should see my basement! Paint brushes, wood-shavings, an big sander, a castle in progress. It's not even my mess, but I love going downstairs to see what is going on there. There are all sort of figures and buildings being built. I do drag the vacuum through there sometimes. This is a video of one of my favorite songs....
My artist daughter painted her dirty clothes rather than wash them. I love this. A famous musician once said "Art is the right way to do anything." I'm not sure when she actually washed them..... She has other paintings of her messy, messy apartment.
Hi, my cleaning has a lot to be desired. But it is so much nicer living in a clean house! I tackled the mold in the shower, and it wasn't that bad. Then cleaned the large tub. Put my orchids back in the bathroom behind the tub next to the large glass block window (they have blooming for 2 months and are still in bloom). I still have the dusting to do (never ending chore), floors to clean, closets to clean out, other bathrooms to clean. I am also cleaning up after my husband and two dogs, or I wouldn't have nearly so much cleaning to do. Did 3 loads of laundry yesterday. Just don't think about how much you have to do. Just start. Do a little every day and you will feel better! I would start cleaning out the storage room next to your room. It sounds like it would help give you a sense or order and control.
You're right. I know for a fact if I cleaned my room I will feel like I have more space and air to breath. Its so claustrophobic in here. Hopefully I muster up some strength to get started tonight
Glad your friends were there for you. Maybe try to do small sections or 1-2 tasks of your room. Like deal with clothes one day, clean out a drawer the next, change sheets the next, etc. Less clutter does ease anxiety and allows your mind to relax more. Is there some way to make a temporary cover to block your view of the other room? If you don't have to look at it constantly it could help. Prayers for willpower and strength to get it done.
Thank you ,I appreciate any good prayers. I'm going to try to fold this pile of clothes tonight. I want to also get rid of my bed one day because it's too big for my room ,I need more space, I just want to relax my mind for once. So I'm taking yall advice
