How has anyone ever been diagnosed with artrial fibrillation only to find out it was anxiety just asking as I've been diagnosed with afib and I think it could be anxiety

There is a close link between arrhythmia and anxiety. For years, if I was over stressed I would get missed ectopic heartbeats for a day or two. Then in February 2020 I started to get 2 or 3 missed beats every minute of every hour. Cardiologist said it's harmless.

In Feb 2021 I was still getting them non stop. So I visited Doctor Google and discovered that Magnesium Taurate or Magnesium Citrate 200mg tablets twice a day were good for all forms of arrhythmia including my ectopic beats and your atrial fibrillation. I was getting this from postings by people who had tried it and cardiologists too.

Now I knew Magnesium is a good natural tranquilizer that helps with anxiety. But never heard of its efficacy with arrhythmias. So I ordered some Magnesium Citrate 200mg tablets online and started taking 2 a day. Three weeks later my 2 or 3 times a minute missed ectopic heartbeats stopped and by heartbeat returned to normal. That was 3+ months ago.

I'm no doctor so I have to say you should check this out with your doctor or cardiologist. He or she may have heard of it. Or they may not have heard of it. Chances are they will give you the 1000-yard stare.

All I know is Magnesium stopped my irregular ectopic heartbeats and that it helps with AFib and that it has been reported to combat stress. Btw Magnesium Taurate is supposed to be most effective but I've been taking the Magnesium Citrate version.

Do I intended to continue to take the Magnesium? Have a wild guess.

Interesting. I also suffer from IBS and my medical dietician has recommended taking 100 mg of magnesium citrate as it also helps with constipation. I am a bit nervous about all medication, so have not tried it yet, but I will.

I was diagnosed with IBS about 10 years ago, it's on my medical records. But I've never had any repeat of it since. My upset stomach was the result of grieving for someone who died unexpectedly. Claire Weekes wrote that the stomach is the organ most sympathetic to anxiety.

If that's what your doctor has recommended I would take the Magnesium Citrate. It's a natural substance, not something dreamt up in a laboratory, and is also well known for its anti-anxiety properties.

Thanks, I will start taking it. I was not aware that it had anti-anxiety properties.
