It has just been announced that Yankee Stadium in NY will be open to full capacity (if you've been vaccinated). The people around here must be over the moon! I live a short distance from the Baseball Hall of Fame and 3 miles from Dreams Park which is a baseball camp for adults. The Hall of Fame opened up a month ago. So, I'm assuming the big canoe race will go on this year. People come from all over the world for that one. The struggling merchants & restaurants & hotel/motels will be overjoyed. It must have been a very tough year for them. A lot of business have shut their doors for good. If they open the colleges this fall life will have returned to normal. We have 2 colleges right here in town. There's gonna be a stampede at the Job Fair next week.
