Anticipation anxiety

I get so anxious waiting before events. Who else has anticipation anxiety? How do you cope with it?

I definitely experience this! I am not great at dealing with it, but the things I try to do to calm myself down is to have a self talk. I ask myself, why am I anxious about this event? What am I worried is going to happen? What’s the worst that could happen. And I usually find that my answers to those questions aren’t that bad and it tends to ease my anxiety a little bit, to know that nothing bad will happen once I get there. Other than that I try to listen to my favorite music or watch my favorite tv show to distract myself as much as possible. I hope this helps
