I have not. I wanted to but my insurance wouldn't cover it. It was way too expensive.
hi swift;
funny.. i really wasn't in mood to post tonight.. but i happened to see your post just before i was about to log...
.
i haven't had any direct experience with TMS - however i first read about it several years ago; and i've been seeing more and more studies that legitimize its efficacy...
i think it holds great promise as a therapeutic technique. but i would also caution you on getting a device from ... less reputable sources / manufacturers... make sure any device you decide to try has been tested, or studied by reputable 3rd parties.

I have been through the course of TMS treatments at my psychiatrist's office twice. The first time, I thought there might have been a sort of delayed effect. I didn't feel better during the course of treatment, but started to feel better a few weeks or months -- I forget how long -- after it ended.
The second time, I felt no benefit at all, and I have continued to struggle with the depression just as badly ever since the treatment ended.
In between those two courses of treatment, I also bought a device that was supposed to produce a similar benefit, but I can't say that it ever helped me. I eventually stopped using it.
But that's just my experience. I hope you hear from a lot of different people, so that you have more information to guide your decision. I wish you the best!
I had a full session of rTMS but it didn’t make any difference for me. Nothing has though, so it would probably be more likely to work for others.
