After researching the side effects of SSRIs I have been looking into alternative herbal remedies.
Has anyone had any experiences with St John’s Wort?
I understand that it does not interact with medication very well however I am not currently on any tablets so that won’t necessarily be an issue for me. If anyone could possibly share any experiences that would be great 😃

I've read too many warnings about St. John's Wort to stop me from taking it, but after my doctor discovered I was very deficient in vitamin D and magnesium, I started taking those supplements with no adverse reactions. Considering low D and magnesium levels are associated with depression and anxiety, perhaps you may want to give them some thought...hope this helps in some way.🙂
Thank you, this does help😀 I’ve read similar reviews on St John’s Wort so I am also very skeptical about taking it. This week I’ve actually started on Vitamin D and Magnesium and I’ve noticed a significant difference in my energy levels and feel much better. Thank you for your help!
Hello, I’m unsure of this but I used to take a multivitamin & a B12 tablet every morning and they do help. I’m unsure why I ever stopped taking them but I am starting again from tomorrow morning, hope this is a bit helpful. 😊
Great thank you! I’ve recently started taking Magnesium and Vitamin B and started to see a good change, definitely start taking them again if it was working for you 😃
