I need to go out into nature more often.
I am stuck today.
Does anyone have any nature pics to add here so we can experience it when we feel stuck and can’t get out?

Here you go. I liked these unusual clouds so I took a picture of them. I think it was this past summer. Today is just gray with snow flurries off and on. I am hibernating.
Yours too! I want to go into the pic and be there.
Nice walk in summer.
The ducks and geese love it here in the warmer months.
Why did the goose cross the road?
Because the chicken had a day off.
🤣haaaaaaaaa!
Honey, have the hot chocolate ready.
Last one.
A sunset taken from patio during Covid isolation.
Wow such vibrant colors
Yes, it was so pretty to see during covid isolation. It reminded me that not all was lost. Thanks for letting me share it 😀
bird flying
the woods
I’m seeing the forest through the trees; love it 😀
sun
Gorgeous!
I love the his one, love hydrangeas
Those are beautiful!
This was a picture I took at Mammoth Lakes, CA. We hiked up to this beautiful lake I love being in nature, but if I can't I search YouTube for hikes and watch them. I like to watch hikes in the High Sierras, the Alps and in the Rocky Mountains. I did this during lockdown regularly and it helped my mental health.
Wow this is so amazing thank you so much for sharing Punkster! Good idea to watch hikes when you can’t get out.
Beautiful picture as usual.
Beautiful cherry blossoms! Thanks for sharing and glad you are enjoying this thread
That is a beautiful picture. It looks so peaceful. A bit of snow and a bright blue sky makes for a great walk.
I'm sorry to read you are you mam are getting over Covid. Keep drinking your fluids and get as must rest as you can
❤️🐬
Nothing like the peace and calm of nature🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! I can't make your bird out well, is he a swan? I've never seen one except in pictures.
Just saw your post and enjoyed everyone's photos. I love photography as it gets me out in nature and takes my mind of my usual problems of the day. Thought I'd share one also. It's at a botanical gardens where I live and it's an oasis for me with the ever changing beauty. I take a lot of walks there. Keep them coming. I love to see other people's creativity. 😊
Amazing !!
So sweet. Surprised there are no boots in those little paws.
They do get a bit testy when their lives get switched up on them
Nice on the sun I think we are getting sun today.
I tried boots on my dog once. He stood still would not move till I took them off.
Thanks you too sweet Twinklystar
It's so kind of you to share this. So beautiful.
I love rainbows, especially after a loved one has passed. It feels like a sign from them that they are okay.❤️🌈😇
Not feeling that great this Xmas day, so I thought I'd post another photo that hopefully someone can enjoy. Trying to get out of my head.
wow this is amazing! Did you take this pic? 😍
Yes, some years ago. A different place at a different time. Much has changed since then, but photography is still one of my main passions along with music. Glad you enjoyed it. I'll probably post more at a later time as it gets me out of my head, if only for a short time.
I LOVE all these pics!
Stuck in the middle of a housing estate, limited transport to go to that place of freedom with nature🥴🙄🤔
While I'm not a big fan of winter, it can provide some beautiful landscapes. I used a star filter for the sun, and a graduated filter for the sky in this one to give it a somewhat surreal look. Hope you enjoy it.
Anyone still feeling stuck inside? Days are getting longer and it won't be long now until Spring, but I just had hip surgery and will be housebound for a while. Even when I can get out of the house, I still won't be able to drive until my surgeon says. It won't be easy and I've actually been more concerned how I would do in this recovery phase, more so than the surgery itself which went well and I was home the same day. Not in much pain and getting around the house better, but when I find myself housebound for more than 3 days max, I really struggle. Even during the worst weather I could at least get out and drive somewhere, if only for a short period. Let me know if anyone is still following this post, and I'll try to round up some photos from the past and post them. Might help someone and myself in the process. ✌️
I remember this picture.
Here's one to get things rolling again. I just had a hip surgery, and will be housebound for awhile so I'll be back.
Woah your photos are so amazing 🤩 Mofro!
This contraption grows seeds with moving water only - no soil.
Hydroponic? Are they in soluble food?
I miss having plants inside.
Will the strawberries come out this year? (Yum!)
They are in sponges that I assume have nutrients in it.
Get yourself a plant 🪴
I will let you know if the strawberries produce.
It's a major pain trying to find a non-toxic plant. 🪴
Baby 🦜 chews everything. Nurseries say they don't know.
Even some things that are edible for us are deadly poisons for her. (Avocado for instance.) I don't keep them around because it'd only take a moment absent-mindedness to share my food.
Or the little monster would sneak it when I'm not looking. 😊
Did I ever mention I'm her poison tester? When I offer her a new food, she won't eat any till she sees me take a bite and not keel over. (I didn't sign on for this!)
Wow she’s smart and funny. Sounds like a human child the way you need to watch her. Ha!
Exactly. I've had dogs and even a cat once. I wasn't prepared for how truly wild a bird remains, even when you share a home. You don't domesticate birds, you accommodate to them. She started teaching me the rules our first day together. 😊
Aww wow. They are amazing! Yeah I’d say they have rules. I had trouble with my bird, not the Doves I had but I had a green conure years ago and she was a handful. I love her and all animals but they need constant attention for sure.
I didn't realize you'd had a conure once. I like that we share that. Handful is a good word. I can't imagine if I'd brought one of the big parrots home.
Hi you! Yes healing for us. What is the title of the post you are talking about that you and Dolphin laughing on? I want to laugh too 😂
Sunset during Covid lockdown…
woah so pretty
It really helped me that day! Yea, it was like a “sign.” Being locked up but seeing something so beautiful really lifted my spirits that day. So glad I took the picture and saved it. Haven’t seen a sunset like that since. 💕
That’s awesome!
I thought so too. Thank you for letting me share it!
Share any nature pics at all. Everyone seems to really dig them.
Will do! I go running in the woods nearby my home and love to take nature pics. I fell on Wed morning and have stitches in head and cheek from fall. Ruined favorite headphones from fall! Saw a pack of coyotes before falling which would have made great picture. Will try again when up to going back!
Oh no I’m so sorry that happened to you! Healing vibes(((((((((((((((
I love hiking. Cool on the coyotes. We have them here in VA but I’ve never seen one. Only fox and deer. Bears mountain lions too. Never seen bear or lions here.
In Arkansas and Maine there are so many nice beautiful areas of nature.
Was raised in MO and spent lots of time on MO/ARK border at a cabin on a lake. Lots of snakes however. 😩 Now in CA. Didn’t realize how many mountain lions and coyotes are here. Would love to get pic of mountain lion but probably don’t want to get that close. One of my kids is moving to Norfolk next month. He’s in the Navy. Can’t wait to go see VA. Never been but here it’s beautiful!
Oh when I lived in Maine we stayed at a cabin on the lake too! We saw moose and black bear. The thought of a mountain lion scares me 😱 You’ll like VA I bet.
Beautiful...I never get tired of sunsets and the color they produce in the clouds.
Beautiful photo
Hsppy Monday? Tomorrow will be a full moon- will anyone photograph it? I plan to and will post it here.
No chance of a full-moon photo where I live as it was a rainy night. Even so, still recovering from my hip surgery so I wouldn't have been able to get a shot anyway. I thought I'd pull one from the archives, though not a full-moon shot. Hope the weather was better where you are.
I'm fully aware of the surgery recovery spiel. Hope you're improving ❤️🩹 stay safe, follow Drs orders and DON'T SKIP PHYSICAL THERAPY 😜 stay as active as possible. I'm always around if you want to vent about the recovery process. I know it all too well.
It was cloudy. How are you feeling?
Better on this day than for a while. I suppose a big part of it, was being told by my Dr. today that I was cleared to drive again during a followup to my hip surgery. That ends 15 days of staring at walls. It just proves that much of our suffering is in our minds, and how powerful our own minds can be in controlling us at times. So simple but yet so overwhelming complex. Thank you for asking.
This is for Starrlight & Mofro! Thanks for the beautiful reply 😊 🐕 we get dog walk sunrise daily 🌞 it's the best way to start the day
This was a regular outing with Dad. I think he was happy here.
