COVID essential worker depression and anxiety

Before I start this I don’t have COVID. I live in Florida, United States that does not follow procedures and has a corrupt governor.My anxiety is to a high ,upsetting my stomach I did ask if company has any therapy resources I could use, stress has caused dizziness that I had to use a over counter drug, and I can’t follow my true purpose in life which is teaching. I should be happy that I have a job. But I do the same job everyday it is assembly line type of job. I can’t teach cause of my autoimmune system, I have a mother on disability, and a step father with diabetes. But doing the same things four day straight gets to you. At least with the kids I had variety. Here I am alone with my thoughts and being alone with my thoughts is NOT fun during a pandemic. Plus I work in a thrift shop , so there could be clothes that have COVID on them, my coworkers make fun of when I have to leave due COVID scares calling it a “ vacation “ which is discriminatory against my disability. An I am just constantly worrying. I am an essential worker but I now feel like a sacrificial worker. We are given more and more work by the day. I honestly could pull out my hair. I want to stop living in fear and live my life again or at least adapt where I can be careful but have a fun time doing it. Oh if you ask my meds it is kolpin, Prozac, meclizine.

Severe anxiety what the kolpin is for, depression/ Prozac, ptsd/ abuse. Last time I got tested wasn’t for a while but if I get one now then I can’t come into work for about two weeks 🤦‍♀️

mcginnmx hi thank you for reaching out. i am sorry that you are having a difficult time. i am overcomer of anxiety. there are things that a person can do for themselves that are simple and everyday ordinary things. drink water, chew gum, keep your mind and hands busy doing stuff... read, journal, listen to soothing music, aroma therapy, take a shower, this is just a few. there are certain foods you can have too. send me a message if you want to talk. also, believe in yourself. take a deep breath and focus on the moment of "here and now". plus, speak positive words to yourself. i call it "speaking life into me". hope to talk again soon. please let us know how you are doing. and... dont worry about what others think, others do not always understand what is going on. dont let them define who you are if they dont know you or walk in your shoes.
