First , she has to accept that she want to be helped. What makes you think she has Bi-polar depression? has she always been this way?

She has had issues with depression on and off since college. She was in an abusive relationship in college. She doesn't really eat, she just wants to be left alone, she cry's a lot, just wants to sleep, says she is unhappy and hates her life. When I ask what she hates about it, she says everything. I tried suggesting we focus on a couple things and she what we can fix and she tells me nothing is fixable. Tonight she maybe sleeping in her car because she doesn't want to go home and doesn't want to come by me. I'm just scared and worried. I just don't know what to do.
I suffer from depression and anxiety. I never wanted to admit that I was depressed I always thought my life was worthless I was in denial for 6 years. She is afraid depression is scary you feel like your life is falling apart you can seem to control your emotions most of the time you want to feel alone because you feel like you dont deserve to be helped. You have to work on letting her admit she needs help. It takes a lot of courage to do that and its a process. But Keep calm and tell her your concerns tell her you want her to see a therapist that your there for her and that everything is gonna be fine. Listen to her and dont question it. One day at a time.
