Yep, for the past couple of months I wake up abruptly, as if I am in a fight.... with my ex boss. I get up, run out of the bedroom and walk around in circles trying to escape but having no where to go. Two weeks ago I started a PTSD medication that tamed those feelings of fear and last week I quit my horrible boss. I wish that someone had told me years ago that I did not have to suffer the way I have suffered all this time.
Yep and yep. I experienced what I thought was someone banging on the outside of my house. Always happened when I thought I was asleep. It was real loud and distinct. Experienced it for months until I talked to a psychiatrist about it. The hallucination went away right after it was discussed. I was under a lot of stress at the time. When I realized it wasn’t real, I guess that’s why it went away. And I was truly convinced that it was real. Quite an experience. Once in a great while I still experience the banging, but I know it’s not real and go back to sleep eventually. It was scary for me at first, but not anymore. Hope you find your answer.❤️🏄♀️
Yes, I have PTSD. It's happened to me quite a few times. A dream triggers something and I wake up in a panic.
YES!
