Made a big step, at the house right now, feels odd being home, I wonder about people who have heart conditions but live super far away from hospitals, like out in the Yukon, or Alaska, or countries where hospitals are not close or an ambulance service is out of the question, and they have no choice but to live there. Not gonna lie, nervous that something will happen but I'm trying to not think about that.
Anyone live super far from hospitals?

That use to be a #1 priority but I no longer think twice about where the
hospitals are located or distance. When you start feeling better, you will
no longer focus on negativity.
Congratulations on taking a big step and being at the house. You are not
in the Yukon or Alaska. Help is only a phone call away. Nothing is going to happen,
say it until you believe it. Plus we will be here to support you. Take it easy. xx
No but I had to travel for work and worked in an Indian reservation. Many people in this particular area had to travel really far for wound care at our facility and that wouldn’t even take us that long to care for them. Most of them didn’t have running water either. It’s sad it felt like I was in another country but I was in the United States. It makes you realize how much people struggle living in these rural areas. Telehealth helps but how do you even prepare for emergencies?
Yep...me..like this 21 years..in middle of nowhere n hour n ten minutes on good day from a hospital. Was taken by helicopter 12/2015 severe allergic reaction to a med.Honestly,I don't even think about how far I live ,n med stuff because I've had med emergencies( including heart related) n i dont freak out in emergencies as it makes it worse n i just think about task at hand n focus.
