Yes it's supposed to work bc as human beings we all have emotions and thoughts and talking helps you process your thoughts and emotions; it's a release. It also helps you learn about you. When you learn about yourself and accept you you gain confidence and love for yourself. Among other things talk therapy gives you validation of what you are feeling which is huge too. I recommend going to therapy. This world is filled with ups and downs and it's great to have someone there to help to navigate it with you❤

Talking to a good therapist has helped me so much. I suffer through bouts of depression and recently a year with anxiety. Talked to a therapist in the last 3 months every other week and my anxiety is gone and depression has lifted. I will continue with therapy to work on what causes my anxiety and depression to keep it at bay.

Yes! It’s very helpful but you have to find a therapist who is right for you and suits your needs.
