My brother has breathing tics

My brother is having breathing tics its scaring me its like he’s struggling to breath but he’s fine now it just scared me

I grew up with an older brother who had major epileptic fits.

Thing is, when adults, we found out that he wasn't on enough medication to control his fits. This was revealed after my Mother requested blood tests to check other medication that had been increased & the hospital doctor agreed & checked all the medication levels.

Once his tablets to prevent epileptic fits were increased from three times a day to four, his fits stopped.

All that time (for decades) he had just needed the correct dosage.

Has your brother been fully investigated and diagnosed?

Yes he has been fully diagnosed

He holds his breath for a couple of seconds he’s ok now

He has autism so its hard to know when he has them but he dozes off and jerks his head and does a lot of other stuff

He’s been diagnosed with OCD too
