You are not your thoughts! 🤍

We are not our thoughts. They come and go. The important thing is to notice when we are stuck in a pattern of constantly over-thinking things. We can then choose to let these thoughts pass through us like clouds passing by in the sky. Thoughts come and go. Let them naturally pass by and you will experience much more freedom. 🤍

I’m new here. Looking for other ways to beat this anxiety that I have never had before. This is on a different level.

You are so welcome. This picture was taken today by a friend as we walked along the beach as I needed some calming vibes to lower my anxiety levels today. Fresh air definitely helped! ❤️

The picture caught my eye too, so beautiful.

At first I thought you were wrong. But I realized you are right. I really want to do this and wish my intrusive thoughts would either stay away or I knew how to deal with them. I could focus on the well-being of myself and others and the world, etc... If I could just let myself. I think I do it because I have been so afraid for so long and thinking of the worst helped me feel in control because I could avoid it. Thank you for this.

You are so welcome 🥰. I know it’s easier said than done. I catch myself thinking the worst scenarios especially when my anxiety kicks in. I then remind myself I am not my thoughts and I can start replacing my negative thought with a positive one. It’s like training your mind. Constant reminder and work. 🥰

Constant reminder that thoughts create feeling, but you can control it. It is hard sometimes. I know as I am struggling rn.

So true! I am struggling with it too at the moment. Like I said in one of my comments, it’s easier said than done but the most important thing is that we are aware of our thoughts. We then have the opportunity to choose to think a different more uplifting thought. 🥰

I have been having a hard time since the beginning of the year. Just discovered perimenopause which I had been in for years now. All of this has a lot to do with it. I fully accept my life. It’s a good life, but there’s a shift in me that I couldn’t understand. So I looked into peri...I listened to Tania Elfersy. Worth checking out.

It helps, but the anxiety seems to hang around.

You are so right. I catch myself over thinking and just putting myself in a bad place. Then I just try to let whatever is bothering me be, or I distract myself. It usually works. It helps to identify that you are overthinking

I hear this so often but cannot find a way of doing it. I overthink everything even worry about taking a shower. I would give anything to be able to let the thoughts pass and think something else
