I’ve tried three times to see a dr to get help. I’m slowly losing touch with reality. I suffer from anxiety so bad I have numbness and tingling all over my body. I can’t sleep I’m always always sick when I eat or don’t eat. I moved with my family to Colorado from Ohio. Yeah during a pandemic. But everything was bad and the move made it better. Everyone is happier but me.
And I can’t figure out why. My boyfriend is doing his best to be supportive. I don’t even have any friends though. And I’m so socially dumb I don’t know where to start. I just want a place I fit in and at my age it’s hard to do. I really just want to know I’m not crazy. I’m not alone in the way I feel and somebody does get it. I’m so sick of people saying BeHAPPY like it’s that easy or something.

Hi- I’m so sorry to hear that you are struggling. One of my sisters was diagnosed with anxiety and it was hard for me to see her going through a difficult time because she refused medical help. She’s lonely, isolated and most of the time crying by herself.
Me and my other sisters are her support group. I talk to her about anything. I send her messages almost everyday. She has a life group that she meets once a week and spiritual counselling. Because of these, she slowly backed on her old self. She does gardening, takes care of her dogs, and she also volunteers in our community. I can truly say that she is getting better.
I hope you will get the help you need to stay strong. I pray for God’s peace and strength to surround you. Please keep sharing and I hope you will find comfort here. God bless.
It is hard to struggle with any type of anxiety or depression. Why don't you check in your area for free mental health clinics. Since you have moved from Ohio to Colorado, moving can be a source of stress as well. Maybe give yourself a break and take one day at a time to make friends and get yourself situated. Getting through the down moments takes time, and you need to give yourself time to find help. You can do this!
