I'm not challenging you my friend. Only trying to understand, in hope.

Example please?

Hey Bob. It's nice to see you again.

It’s something God thinks we are ready to work on. So if something stands out as a trigger like reminders of a horrible death in the family or being abused in some way then we at some point are strong enough to see what it is all about better, to really see in a new fuller perspective, than we’d seen previously and we can accept what we couldn’t face before because the pain, it was too much, and then it allows us to go down a certain path to healing growth and rebirth and back to peace is my thinking.

I like your descriptive example you just gave. I was away from the house today and enjoyed myself a little. When I came home I got triggered by someone with a typical/familiar something. It somewhat ruined my nice day at first but I have been thinking about it and realized this thing is a major trigger for me and I've trying to think how to deal with it. I cant control others but I can control how I react - even though I find how to change my reaction difficult. Thank you for the food for thought!

You have great insight. So true we can control how we react. How are you doing now?
