So very anxious

I'm so tired of being anxious every morning at this time. No one showed up to relieve me from work yesterday. No one called and no one would answer my calls. I wondered for 20 mins. if and when I was going to get to go home after being up for 8 hours. I had a bad spell this time last year so I was already anxious when that time of year come. This is just adding to it. Such a vicious cycle that wears me out.

That is such an awful thing to go through. Being alone without back up and not knowing how to handle it. I would definitely connect with management about what happened to get a plan for how to handle it should it come up again.

As for anxiety that happens at a certain type of year or season or holiday or anniversary. I can definitely understand that. Several of my children are adopted and react to trauma that happened to them during certain times of the year. As they've matured we've been able to start slowly touching on the source of the anxiety (the trauma that happened to them) and work deeper into it each year. My oldest son (17) now can get through the tough times without the negative behaviors or anxiety attacks. Its taken many years, though.

Be gentle on yourself and consider seeing a therapist to help you along this journey toward healing. I am praying for you!

Thank you for your support. I get the panic feeling without the memory. Sometimes it takes a little digging around in my head to pin point the event that caused the anxiety the first time. I have been through a lot of therapy. I will always have the anxiety and the work to be a productive, well adjusted individual is never ending but worth the work. Your prayers are much appreciated.

I did speak to several of the supervisors at work in hopes that this issue gets resolved. I will continue untill I am out of options.
