Personally, I kinda browse between genres. I like foreign cinema a lot.

I like a few foreign ones, namely wuxia/martial arts. Do you speak lots of languages then? Or dont you mind watching subtitles?

I wish I spoke lots of languages! I can understand some French and Spanish, but not nearly enough to watch a movie without subtitles. I like the subtitles, dubbed always seemed strange to me.

I watched doctor sleep yesterday, was very good! Saw tenet last week at the movies (me and my bf had screen to ourselves). Terribly intense and confusing film!! I'm just watching a show called in the long run (uk). Its light and comical but episodes are very short, it's offputting.

I need to get my hands on his books, to really see the difference in them from the movies.

Besides foreign films, I usually seek out horror, thriller, and mystery movies. I enjoy scifi shows as well.

I'm also that kind of person who rewatches things a thousand times.

I'm not a big reader. (Though I'm aware of there tends to be contrasts between film versions.)

I like scifi too, thriller, musicals, action/adventure, comic, fantasy, chi/kids!

Oh man, I was a theatre kid in high school and in vocal. We did a bunch of shows, my school did massive musical performances. Cats, fiddler on the roof, Chicago, The producers. I fucking loved it.

What instrument do u play? Learned violin as a kid, but don't play anymore. I play the mandolin but someone stole mine so I gotta get a new one. Learned a little guitar but I suck at bar chords, lol.

I played violin at school too then lost interest. I've dipped in and out of learning piano.

Weather’s not a good one for me. We had nasty weather and fires that caused mandatory evacuations. What’s your favorite comfort food? I like homemade shepherds pie.

Comfort food for me is chocolate. I'm a big sweets fan. If I have to pick a savory food, it would be sushi.

Well it was pizza, but given it up to lose weight (gained coz of lockdown/isolating/antidepressants 😡). My appetites been rubbish. Most of my comfort food is junk/takeaways so have had to cut back on them.

I like jacket/baked potatoes!

I like sweet stuff, cakes, biscuits.

Wish I could sleep some more. Probably won’t though. At this point my plans consist of waiting for the officials to tell me if we can go home. Right now it’s three humans, two dogs and a cat in a 26 foot fifth wheel rv. Not much to do. Have fun with your friend.

I’m on pacific time. Yes. We’re all still crammed in the rv. We’re parked in the dead end at my sister’s house, and they made dinner for all of us last night. Nice to eat at a table. But we’ve made it through another night. I’m thankful for that. My cat has decided to take a nap on my bed, so I’m stuck here until he decides to move.

We had pork chops and potatoes and carrots. My dad mostly watches the news and keeps an eye on the fire scanner. But I brought my flute, so I might play some later today.

Since...ummm...seventeen years. Gosh, I’m old. I mostly play things I like. I’ve got a lot of traditional Celtic music, some newer music, the Sound of Music, Christmas. I Go outside and play YMCA when I want to annoy the annoying neighbors.

going to visit my aunt only a 15 minute walk so hanging on as rain is expected outside visits only and window visits from next week its a nightmare.

hi yeah the rain stayed off so that`s good I got my visit.I live in the worst covid area in Scotland its a brand new care home virus free so trying to keep it that way so window visits from next week.

Mostly tired, achy and drained today. Been in bed all day. Have had brief naps but neighbours have been noisy.

Sorry to hear about your aunt. I've a little experience/training with it. Glad that there's something that helps you both on visits.

I noticed you've been on this site for a few years too. Mind if i ask do you have much/any support from family/friends/nhs/social services etc?

my mum and sister helped when my son died but my mum is gone now so is my dad but we had a difficult relationship my 2 friends helped with my son we where neighbours and grew up but both of them died with heart defects(brothers).been to counselling a few times currently on a waiting list to go back.

Aww kenster. Thats lot of difficult holes made in your life to deal with/to bear. I'm sorry to learn your son has passed on. I've experienced this tragic loss through a cousin and an ongoing acquaintance.

Having bpd I sense a feeling of some abandonment, would you agree? And wondering if you struggle with friendships too?

Are you still in touch with your sister?

Which counselling service are you waiting on? (I've been through them all!)

yeah me and my sister live in the same street got 2 brothers but we don`t talk yeah any loss is difficult but a child its hard got friends yeah but I feel out of place a lot so its hard.waiting for CBT but it could be months.

Glad you still have your sis close by. I don't have a relationship with any of my siblings (1 full sib and 4 half sibs!)

I meant is it insight, trent pts or letstalk? And did you have cbt before? None of them or cbt have worked for me. Though insight did put me on track for my bpd diagnosis!
