What is better sertaline or esctalapram?

I am on esctalapram and it’s giving me an itchy dry skin effect my gp said I can move to sertaline what are people’s thoughts on this ?

The doctor will suggest a drug based on their clinical knowledge and your symptoms. There is no one drug that works for everyone due to different chemistry between bodies. Occasionally your doctor suggests a medication that works first time. Otherwise it might be trial and error.
