Please help I cannot tolerate side effects of these antidepressants I can’t take the anxiety the upset stomach the worsening panic from some antidepressants I’m on it for like three or four days and then I stop what does everyone else take that doesn’t cause an upset stomach

Couple of suggestions would be, firstly, go up slowly in dose. So try taking half pills for a couple of weeks at the start.

It's possible to get a short term prescription for benzodiazepines to cover the initial increase in anxiety, but that's down to the particular doctor for whether they are willing to do that or not. Because of addiction issues it's a lot harder to get GPs to prescribe.

If you really can't tolerate one SSRI, then switch to another, then maybe try Mirtazapine.

I was going to try mirtazapine But I heard you gain tons of weight does it help you sleep and does it help anxiety

It didn't really help me with either anxiety or depression, but it seems to encourage sleep OK. But it's all down to individual response with psych meds, so it may work great for some people with anxiety. Expect to be very tired when first started on it.

I was going to try mirtazapine But I heard you gain tons of weight does it help you sleep and does it help anxiety I’m take trazadone 25 mg at night and Ativan .50 but it doesn’t seem to work the Ativan or Xanax

I’m on 2.5 lexapro and it still bothers me

Yeah OK, that's a problem, because that's a tiny dose. If you aren't tolerating such a small amount, it's probably best to try a different med.

I use ganja, its effective for me and almost everyone I know. Only side effect I've had are munchies and depending on how much I take sleepiness. Hope you find something that helps. Stay irie, one love.
