It is challenging for sure. But even us with anxiety and depression are now joined by a lot of those who never suffered so our universe is bigger and now more people will understand. I get out and exercise everyday and that helps clear the brain. Stay away from the news it is the devil.

Well it's driving me mad. Especially when me and my daughter are high risk. It's insanely scary. My heart goes out to you during these painful times. Stay well and safe 🙏✌️♥️
I’m not dealing well at all. Today is a particularly challenging day. I have been in bed all morning long. I am anxious and depressed and can’t muster the will to start my day. It’s the sky is falling attitude about everything little thing in my life. If it can go wrong it will go wrong. It had been this way for weeks. I try to have a brave face when talking with family and friends and they don’t know how much I really am suffering. It is tough and the pandemic is making it far, far worse.

Yes, I agree, getting out and walking, running, biking - exercising is a good way to get out and clear your mind. Do you like to read or listen to music? Those help me also. - One other thing about the virus conversation- Do not get hooked on the media! They just make things a lot more confusing and they tend to scare people too. My husband and I just go to the (your state.gov.com) website and look up only the facts and do not watch the news. This helps also. God bless you!
As I noticed what others have written, the hell with the news. I don't know what to do with myself, that's why I'm on here!!! I hope things get better somehow.

We are all here to encourage and lift each other up in some manner or another. We come from all different walks of life. Expierencing and learning different lessons in life. What we have all learned we can come along someone else who is struggling and be their encouragement and support. We might have family and friends who might need some compassion or empathy or maybe they are celebrating something exciting that we can rejoice with them. Maybe we do not have anyone, maybe we might be alone, afraid,depressed... Maybe someone can alongside and help and encourage so that we might be able to come alongside someone else and help them along. - We all have to stick together. One of the best ways to help ourselves is to help others!
I feel this exact same way.... really trying to avoid the news. Really trying to even get motivated to start maybe kind of thinking about exercise (that’s how far down in the brain the desire to work out again is hidden). Mostly I sit in the quiet of my yard with my trees and my birds and my coffee. At the end of the day I can’t even remember eating sometimes.
Started therapy and Sertraline.
And joined here.... I’m burning my support bridges pretty quickly at home.
