Bruxism and SSRIS

So. The last time I was on Prozac I was grinding my teeth in my sleep. Which isn’t necessarily abnormal for me. However, this time around I’m finding myself grinding my teeth during the day a lot as well. I’m just wondering if this is common among Prozac users or SSRIs in general? Thanks in advance!

I had a real problem with clenching my teeth. I started celexa about 3 weeks ago and have noticed a change for the good, thank goodness, because clenching was really killing my tmj :-/

Idk about prozac, I have never been on that one.

A mouth guard helps a little ♡

Hi,

I have had Bruxism most of my adult life which has been attributed to anxiety and not meds. I've been on many different meds throughout my life and the Bruxism continues. I do wear a day and night guard which helps. Without a guard you can ruin your teeth. You can get one at a pharmacy or Amazon

Good luck. 🌻😊⚓🌞
