I am dealing with a lot like we all are and I’m at a point to where I feel like I can’t take it anymore. I lost a child 3 years ago 2 weeks after her first birthday and went through a hell of a custody battle for my other children which turned out the same way we had it before we went back to court. I’ve had no counseling or therapy since and my S.O. does not support me emotionally and I feel rejected all the time when I try to communicate with him. We have a daughter together and he works out of state and has 2 other kids who is his priority but me and my daughter get the left over time if any! I quit my job to stay home with the baby and at first he was all supportive of it and it was actually him who wanted me to quit and now he complains about having to pay anything that I need like my phone bill or our rent in the state I live in and my car. I feel like a huge burden and that he hates me. I also struggle with PPSD and of course it goes over looked. I don’t have money for counseling and I don’t have anyone to watch my child if I did go so this is the only help I have found. These past few days have been mental hell for me and I feel like I am about to have a break down!

You're going through a lot right now. In my opinion, some major changes need to be made in the very near future. You and your daughter are as important as anyone else and if you don't feel that way, that's the first place I'd start. You must take care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally so you can raise your daughter more effectively as she grows and life moves on. Your bond with her is your most precious priority.

As for obtaining employment, most states offer licensed child care assistance that could get you going and back on your way to financial independence. They would also assist with child care while training or attending college to find the employment you desire. Check with your local Health & Human Resources Dept. and also ask for any other type of assistance you can qualify for at this time. You may be surprised.

Good luck and hugs to you and your daughter.
