I (14M) have recently been diagnosed with both delusional and hallucinatory psychosis. some of the symptoms that i'm experiencing are: major delusions, extreme confusion (over who I am, where I am, who people are), paranoia, destructive/arsonistic tendencies (I'm normally a very calm, non-violent person), and major auditory and mild visual hallucinations. I've also been diagnosed (about two years ago) with OCD, anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder. (I've also been hospitalized for suicide attempts). My parents get frustrated and really don't know how to cope when I get episodes (although they absolutely refuse the idea of anti-psychotics, which usually just results in me spending them with my dog in my third floor bedroom. Any advice?

dearest soupboy, your complex mental health issues can and must only be addressed
by a psychiatrist. The doctor needs to talk with your family in regards to the proper
medication that you should be on. It is not safe or good for you do be alone with your
dog on the 3rd floor (away from everyone) when you have these episodes.
Therapy is also important in providing you with a way to find the root of some of
these issues. I need to tell you that since you are 14years old, we are not going to
be able to support you. The rules of this forum state that you must be 16. This is
for safety of our younger people. I hope you get the help you need. If your parents
refuse, see if you can talk with another adult family member, friend or teacher who
can speak to them on your behalf. Stay safe my friend... I wish you well because I care xx
These type of symptoms are usually caused by traumas. Can you identify any trauma such as violence, bullying, neglect, sexual trauma, rejection, loss of a family member?
