These are the symptoms of anxiety. I am posting this for those who have been questioning the symptoms. Try not to think any extras into existence.

I am currently having an anxiety attack. It stinks, and I would wish this on NO ONE! My mom called to tell me my stepdad is having a bad reaction to his new heart medication and refusing to get help. I was already on high alert, but now all the bells and whistles are going off!

Thanks for the image though, it is a good reminder to breathe, and this too shall pass.

Ok, I'm here. Are you at home?

I am. My husband and daughter are here with me ♡

Ok, that's really good. Are you sitting down with a glass of water?

Feet flat on floor, sitting straight in your chair, breath deeply. Your stomach is a balloon. Breathe in to inflate, out to deflate.

Gonna switch trains here, so bear with me. Brb.

Ok, back. Breathe in for a count of 4, hold for a count of 7 and strong breath out to a count of 8. Repeat 3 times.

Thank you. Yes, sitting with a glass of water, deep breathing. My heart rate is starting to slow down (that is one of my biggest triggers, when my heart starts racing).

Sorry, had to get something for my plants. Let me get home and I'll post a picture. They are Anaheim Chili Peppers. I can also include a youtube video on Dr. Andrew Weils demostrating his 4-7-8 breathing techique if you'd like.

I'm so glad you feel better!!

I feel "off" all day after I have an attack like that, but at least feeling off is manageable.

Hi,

Try touching ice focus on how it feels and cooling yourself down.

Try covering yourself with a blanket and if you can look at funny cat or dog videos. Ride it out and breathe. I hope you feel better.

Thank you!

I have been dealing with this awful condition for over 15 months :-(

I am one week in to a medication change. Still waiting for the benefits the doctor promised 😂 I will say, I have had good days, and have spent the majority of this week reminding myself this is anxiety and it will pass. Amazing what your brain can convince itself of!!

I like the funny video idea, may have to try that. :-)

Chronic Fatigue is not anxiety trust me as a health professional they are 2 different things ... Anxiety can be linked but does not cause Chronic fatigue.

I have CFS and Chronic pain and dizziness .

Do you notice tension and holding your breath during these times? I do and my heart beats faster because I am restricting oxygen from holding my breath with out realizing it.
