Try not to let Depression take over your life

Try to see beyond your depression to define your purpose in life

You will need to find a therapist or a Pychotherapist to determine the root cause of your unhappiness and to find ways to find a purpose to lift your moods

I do not even know how you can go about finding some form of support

I have lost friends, unable to keep a job due to Depression

Everyone in life has a purpose and a role to play

Hi👋 and welcome! Since the most recent posts are the first ones to show up on the feed I read your other post first. From what I understood from it, you are taking positive steps towards helping yourself. Congratulations for taking that step! It is sure not easy to admit you need help, so it seems like you're headed in the right direction!

Please don't be annoyed with yourself. I don't know what your situation is at the moment, but I can tell you that, whatever it is, please don't beat yourself up about it.

Whether it be depression, anxiety, something else or a mixture, it is an illness and needs to be treated lovingly. Would you be annoyed with someone for having cancer or diabetes (to name a couple)?

Depression thrives when we stop talking about it and stay hidden. You are doing the right thing. Have you found a counselor, pastor or mentor you can talk to about what you are going through? Sometimes, most of the times actually, there is a core to depression. Finding out what is in that core either trauma, grief, or even hormonal is vital to freedom from it. I walked through many years of depression but have been free for over 10 years. Don’t give up the fight. I am praying for you! -Rachel
