Or have been in past? What side effects and benefits do you get from it? Which of the ones youve taken so far have been the best or worst and why?

Prozac is the only one I have taken and while it worked fairly well after a couple months, I felt drowsy and had frequent headaches

Hi.

Are you thinking of going on them, or switching?

I'm now on Citapram 30mg, daily for depression and low mood.

It did help me feel better, less down and depressed. But on the other hand it totally took away my libido almost from the start.

But i think being on them is worth it.

I've tried many others, and but i got side effects from all of them pretty quickly.

I've been on a lot, the worst esitalapram the side effects were migraines, nightmares, anxiety attacks, obsessive thoughts, I'm currently on duloxetine, pregabalin, lithium and promethazine. The side effects if I miss doses include sickness, diarrhoea, headaches, sweats but I've been on this regime longest not sure if it helps but I've been on a wide range of meds.

Escitalopram was awful for me, I took myself off immediately my symtoms worsened. I went back to Cymbalta and I've been on Klonopin for years. I haven't had any side effects with Cymbalta. I took a break from it a few years ago because it seemed to lose its effects after many years. My Nurse Practitioner put me back on it after trying a few new ones which were awful. It's been a saving grace. Keep trying you'll find one that works. It always takes a few trials.

I went down hill massively with esitalapram wasnt on it very long at all. I had obsessive thoughts about self harm which I started doing at 37yrs and then took an overdose but it all happened after taking esitalapram it was like it opened up this part of me and unfortunately it doesnt seem to of gone and now I've been diagnosed with BPD
