Hello everyone. I’m hoping everyone on here’s doing well with everything that’s going on. I know that situations like these definitely test us and that’s ok cause in the end we will stay on course, and reflect on it once it’s passed. One of the things I’ve incorporated in my daily life is a gratitude journal. It may sound like a small minor thing, but to be honest if you turn everything off and concentrate on it, it definitely does help. I do it every morning, I have a notebook dedicated just to that. I’m an avid weightlifter, been doing it for years and I absolutely positively need to do it. It helps with my depression and anxiety. Another thing I try and do is not ruminate, when I ruminate I think of the negatives, and the what if’s. I have many blessings in my life and I do recognize every single one of them. We must all try and conquer the negatives with the positives, even though times like these really do test us. One thing I’ve learned in my life, us humans are very resilient and very strong in mind and spirit. It’s times like these that we must all out our best foot forward and face the challenges life has put forth. Theirs a video on YouTube that’s helped me a lot, it’s The seven day mental diet, by Emmet Fox. It’s a very good guide to helping apply positive thinking through our daily lives. I was just thinking how many disappointments happened today but I bet I can find even more blessings that are taken for granted sometimes. I’ve been noticing how hard I am on myself and it breaks my own heart . Thanks for the uplift, Samson.
